Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree or MPhil degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
- A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
Admissions in Ph.D. Programmes will be as per the latest UGC Regulations.

SHUATS Allahabad PhD Admission 2022-23 Spring Semester Application Process
- Candidates can apply through the university website.
- Candidates who had cleared UGC/ICAR/CSIR JRF Test within two years from the date of this advertisement need not to appear in Written Entrance Test. However, they have to fill the Entrance Test Application Form and appear in Interview with all the original Testimonials and Certificates.
Selection Process
- The selection will be based on the Performance in written Test and Interview to be conducted by the University.
- Candidates who had cleared UGC/ICAR/CSIR JRF Test within two years from the date of this advertisement need not to appear in Written Entrance Test. However, they have to appear in Interview on 01st Feb, 2023 with all the original Testimonials and Certificates.

Pattern and Syllabus
There will be 100 objective type questions, out of which 20 questions are based on General / Academic aptitude and 80 questions are based on the subject studied at master’s level.
