Application Process

• Application Form can be downloaded at the official website https://www.caluniv.ac.in/
• The candidates are advised to apply in the prescribed application form by paying Rs.100/- through a Challan to the cash counter, University of Calcutta.
• The last date for accepting application form is April 10, 2023

Application Fee

• An application fee of Rs. 100/-

Admission Process

• There will be a Ph.D. Entrance Test (written) followed by an interview. The eligibility and exemption criteria for the Entrance Test (written) will be as per University of Calcutta (Regulation for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D.) Regulations.
• A maximum of 28 (Twenty eight) Ph. D. students may be accommodated; if found suitable, with reservations as per West Bengal State Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2013.
• The Entrance Test (written) of one hour will be held on April 28, 2023 at 01:00 pm in the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics. The question will be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based on fundamentals of physics, mathematics, electronics and communication.
• The interview will be held on May 10, 2023 from 12:00 noon onwards in the Department.
