About PSTET

Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is a state-level exam conducted by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers in the schools of Punjab.

The PSTET exam is conducted in two levels – Paper 1 and 2.

PSTET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates who want to become Classes 1-5 teachers and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to become teachers of Classes 6-8.

Candidates who want to become Classes 1-8 teachers need to appear for both papers.

PSTET Exam Pattern 2023

PSTET exam consists of two papers- Paper- I and Paper-II. Paper-I is for the candidates interested in qualifying for the Primary Teaching jobs. Candidates who wish to qualify for the Upper Primary teaching jobs. The PSTET 2023 Exam Pattern is different for Papers 1 and 2.
