Qualifications
M. Tech. in Petroleum Engineering with specialization in a) Drilling Engineering or b) Production Engineering or c) Reservoir Engineering
B. Tech. or an equivalent degree in Petroleum Engg./Petroleum Technology/Chemical Engineering and allied areas with a valid GATE score in Petroleum Engineering/Chemical Engineering.
M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering with specialization in a) Polymer & petrochemical Engineering, or b) Energy Engineering
B. Tech. or an equivalent degree in Chemical Engg. or Bio-Chemical Engg. /Electrochemical Engg. /Energy Engg. /Environmental Engg. /Petrochemical Engg./Chemical Technology/Oil Technology with a valid GATE score in Chemical Engineering

Selection Process
For Full Time Regular Registration Category, candidates shortlisted on the basis of GATE Score which is valid and above the qualifying pass mark, may be selected for M. Tech. programmes either on the basis of their GATE score or written test or interview or on the basis of any combination of these as declared by the individual department.
The Non-GATE candidates have to qualify the written test and the Interview for selection into M. Tech. programmes at EIB Centre.
For admission under other categories, candidates are exempted from appearing in the written test.
