Eligibility Criteria
- Only candidates (such as Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Lecturers, Readers, Workshop Superintendent and Professors) with a minimum of three-years teaching experience as full-time regular/permanent teachers of AICTE approved Degree level Engineering Institutions.
- A Master Degree or Equivalent in an appropriate branch and other eligibility criteria prescribed as per information brochure.
Application Process
- The admission process starts from the online portal hosted at principal coordinating institute. For admission in the year 2022-2023, IIT Kharagpur will act as the principal coordinating institute.

- NITTTR Chandigarh has been declared as QIP Centre by AICTE from the session 2021-22 to offer Ph.D. admission under QIP (Engineering) scheme in the disciplines of

- Computer Science and Engineering

- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering.
- The admission process starts one academic year in advance i.e. the candidates who are offered advance admission to Ph.D. degree during the year 2022-23 start their 60 days contact period in the academic year 2022-2023 and join as full-time students in the academic year 2023-2024.
