NIILM University PhD Admission 2023 Important Dates

NIILM University PhD Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should hold Master’s Degree from recognised university/ institute in relevant stream with minimum 55% marks.
• In case of reserved category, minimum marks required 50%.
• Candidates possessing a Degree consider equivalent to M Phil Degree shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.

NIILM University PhD Admission 2023 Application Procedure

• Candidates can obtain Application form from the official website www.niilmuniversity.in or can collect from University campus.
• Complete application form with attested required documents along with DD of Rs. 1,000/- can be sent to the University. 
• Write your personal details and the application form number on the back of the Bank Demand Draft / Bank Challan receipt / copy of NEFT voucher and attach the same to your filled in application.

Selection Process

• The university admit the candidates in the Ph.D. course in the basis of Entrance Test and Interview/Viva-Vice and document
• The syllabus for the Entrance test is same as Net syllabus.
• Entrance Test will be of 200 marks and the candidate must secure 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/BC (A&B) non creamy layer /differently- abled) in two papers to quality the test. If two candidates chained equal marks in entrance test then preference will be given according to their age (higher age higher priority).
• There shall be entrance test having two papers I & II of 100 marks each consisting of 50+ 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) of two marks each. The duration of the entrance test shall be 120 minutes. The syllabi of entrance test for admission to PhD program would be as per UGC guidelines Le 50% from respective Research Methodology followed in the subject and 50% subject specific. There shall be no negative marks for incorrect response. No marks will be given for unanswered questions.
• UGC/CSIR-NET IRF (with validity period UGC/CSIR-NET/other similar examination like SLET Teacher Follow holder DST Inspire fellow (with validity period) GATE (with validity period)/ GPAT will have to appear in entrance test. However weightage will be given such candidate
• Weightage of 05 marks will be given to the candidate having M.Phil. (in Regular Mode through entrance test) degree passed from NIILM Kaithal.
• Weighs of 10 Marks for NET qualified Student and Weightage of 15 Marks for NET+JRF candidate will be given. However, maximum weightage will be of 20 Marks
