NEHU Shillong PhD Admission 2023-24 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with 55% marks or ‘B’ grade in the 7-point UGC scale at the Master’s Degree level or equivalent in the concerned or allied/cognate subject are eligible for admission.
- However, a relaxation of 5% marks from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for those belonging to ST/SC/OBC (non creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
