The admission in Ph.D. programme will be offered to ICAR nominee & Haryana Residents candidates who appeared in entrance test held on 12.10.2021 against seat (s) fall vacant during 1st semester of AY 2021-22) for the 2nd semester of Academic Year 2021-22 and they do not need to fill the application form.

Eligibility Criteria for LUVAS Hisar PhD Admission 2022
- The candidate must have obtained B.V.Sc.&A.H. and M.V.Sc. degree from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and that college must be within the list of VCI Schedule of recognized Veterinary Colleges /Institutes.
- The candidates must have completed Master’s programme and result notified.
- However the candidates who have completed all the requirements for Master’s programme and have passed the viva-voce examination may also be considered for admission in order of their merit in the entrance test. If the Master’s degree and transcript are not issued to them by the University till the date of Counseling they shall have to produce a certificate from the Dean Post-graduate Studies/Registrar of their University indicating the OGPA and date of qualifying the viva-voce examination and notification of completion of M.V.Sc. degree.
- The minimum educational eligibility for admission of fresh as well as in-service candidates shall be 65% marks (where OGPA is not given) or an Overall Grade Point Average of 6.5 (10.00 basis) in M.V.Sc. in the subject concerned from a VCI recognized Veterinary College/Institute.
- Such candidates who have not obtained B.V.Sc.&A.H. and M.V.Sc. degree from a veterinary college/institute recognized by VCI will not be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme and application form fee will not be refunded.
- Copy of Aadhar Card.
- For availing benefits of Haryana Govt. Schemes please enclose copy of Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) along with application form.
- The candidate must be registered with the State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Eligibility for ICAR/ICCR nominees for Ph.D. programme
There will not be any entrance test for such nominees. The candidate (ICAR nominee) must have obtained B.V.Sc. & A.H. and Master’s degree from a VCI recognized college. The candidate must be registered with the State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India. The followings may be considered for admission to Ph.D. programme:
- Foreign candidates holding Govt. of India scholarships and routed/ nominated through/by ICAR-DARE/ICCR.
- Foreign candidates sponsored by their Governments with scholarships and routed through ICAR-DARE/ICCR

Admission against ICAR seats shall be finalized by the ICAR.
The candidates must report for admission on the date of 1stCounseling notified by this University.
The ICAR seats which remain unfilled during 1st Counseling shall be filled up from applicants of category of Haryana residents on merit basis in the 2nd Counseling.
