Jadavpur University offers one year Post MSc Diploma Course in Medical Physics for the academic year 2022-23 offered by Department of Physics, Jadavpur University in Collaboration with Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata.

Course Duration – One Year
Class Hours – 5 PM to 9 PM (Mainly)
Course Content –
Students will be trained in the safe use of radiation and radioisotopes in Medicine, Medical Research and other relevant fields. The course contents covers:
- Radiation Physics
- Radiation Biology
- Radiation Chemistry
- Electronics and Instrumentation
- Statistics
- Computational methods

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 55% marks in M. Sc. (Physics) or equivalent examination (for foreign candidates) with Physics as major/honours at B.Sc. level.
- Relaxation of 25% (on 55%) in marks will be allowed to SC/ST candidates
- Relaxation of 10% (on 55%) in marks will be allowed to the foreign candidates and to the candidates working in the field of Radiotherapy/Medical Physics for at least one year
