INST Mohali PhD Admission Jan 2022 Eligibility Criteria
M. Sc. or M. Tech. or M. Pharm. in Basic/Applied Sciences, Engineering or related areas.
Students appeared for the final semester/year examinations are also eligible on the condition that the degree will be granted by the time of joining.
Qualified at least one national examination out of CSIR/UGC-NET, GATE, JEST, ICMR-JRF, JGEEBILS (TIFR/NCBS), DST-INSPIRE, DBT-JRF or GPAT.
Students registered in BS-MS program of IISER, Mohali can apply as per IISER Mohali’s norms.

INST Mohali PhD Admission Jan 2021 Application Process
The application form can be downloaded from INST Mohali website.
In addition to the above application, the candidates are required to submit an online synopsis.
A hard copy of application along with the self-attested copy of required certificates should be sent to “The Director, Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Knowledge City, Sector 81, Mohali 140308 (Punjab).
The envelope containing the application form should be super scribed as “Application for the Ph. D. Program – January 2022”.

Selection Procedure
The candidates will be shortlisted for an Interview and the interview details will be communicated to the email address provided by candidate.
Ph. D. interviews will be conducted online and the link for the same will be provided prior to the interview. In case the interviews are conducted in person, the candidates called for interview will be paid sleeper class rail fare or non-AC bus fare from the place of residence to INST and back on production of
ticket.
After the interview, the list of candidates selected for Ph. D. will be uploaded on INST website and the candidates will be intimated by email.
