IIT Mandi Integrated PhD Physics Admission 2022-23 – IIT Mandi invites applications for admission in Integrated PhD (I-PhD) programs in Physics, for the academic year 2022-23, starting from August 2022.

IIT Mandi Integrated PhD Physics
The I-PhD program will cover all the essential features of regular MSc as well as PhD program with the special emphasis on the training the students to the research field at early stage, after the completion of one year course work.
A suitable amount of fellowship will be paid to I-PhD students starting from the date of admission.
Eligibility Criteria for IIT Mandi Integrated PhD Physics Admission 2022-23
Bachelor degree (B.Sc. after the 10+2 or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as two of the subjects from a recognized university with at least 60% marks or CGPA of 7.0. (Relaxation for SC/ST, OBC and PH applicants as per government norms).
Candidate should have a valid score in the national level exam Joint Admission Test (JAM).
Candidates appearing in their final year of bachelor program, can also apply. They should use the percentage/CGPA up to the previous semester/year while filling the application form. Such candidates have to produce all the relevant documents at the time of admission if they are selected for admission.

- Click on ‘New Registration’.
- Register with a valid Email Id.
- Fill the application and Check all the details that you have entered and then submit.

- One application fee is valid for the single application.
- The application fee is non-refundable.
Mode of Selection
I-PhD: The eligible candidates will have to undergo an online interview.

Shortlisting Criteria
All applicants should have B.Sc. / B.S. in Physical Sciences with at least 60% marks or CGPA 7 out of 10. In addition, the applicants should have a valid score in the national level exam Joint Admission Test (JAM). The cut-off ranking is as follows:
- GEN: All India Rank < 570.
- EWS: All India Rank< 905.
- OBC (NCL): All India Rank<960.
- SC: All India Rank< 2250.
- ST: All India Rank<5500.

IIT Mandi MSc and Integrated PhD Admission 2020-21
The ‘M.Sc. in Physics‘ is a two year program and will cover all the essential features of regular program with the special emphasis on the laboratory and research training.
The I-PhD program introduces the students to the research field at early stage, after the completion of one year course work. A fellowship will be paid to I-PhD students. The I-PhD program will provide opportunity to work not only in emerging areas of Physics, but also various interdisciplinary fields of sciences and engineering.

Mode of Selection
The shortlisted candidate will be called for the written-test/interview or both conducted at IIT Mandi.
I-PhD: The eligible candidates will have to undergo a written test followed by an interview.
M.Sc: The eligible candidates will have to undergo only written test, which will be conducted at IIT Mandi.

- Gen(EWS): Course percentage of 83% (or better) or CGPA of 8.9 (or better)
