Programme Highlights

  • Students admitted through Early Admit MSc Programme will be given a monthly scholarship of Rs 5,000.
  • A valid JAM/GATE score is not mandatory.
  • Financial support up to ₹ 60000 for presenting their research work at international conferences.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT Gandhinagar Early Admit MSc Admission 2021

BSc students from select colleges those who will graduate in 2021 or have graduated in 2020 and are among the top 5 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre final year and final year respectively are eligible to apply.

B.Tech students from NITs and select colleges those who will graduate in 2021 or have graduated in 2020 and are among the top 5 rank holders in the departments at the end of their pre final year and final year respectively are eligible to apply.

B.Tech students from IITs those who will graduate in 2021 or have graduated in 2020 with a minimum 6.0 CPI/CGPA at the end of their 3rd year and 4th year respectively are eligible to apply.

The Department Head / Director / Principal of the respective institute will be required to issue a rank certificate supporting each application.

Application Process

Candidate has to apply online on IIT Gandhinagar Website.

Please save the application form and take a hard copy. You have to furnish hardcopy of the application form and all the documentary evidence at the time of interview. Incomplete applications will lead to rejection.

There is no application fee.

No need to send the hard copy of the application form.

Selection Procedure

Admission is generally offered on the basis of a written test and/or interview.

The final selection of candidacies will be mainly based on academic credentials, written test and/or interview.

In view of the current Covid-19 scenario all interviews will be done via online mode.
