Graphic Era Hill University PhD Admission 2023 (Jan) Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree from any UGC recognized University/ AICTE approved Institutions or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the notified fields of study with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST candidates).

Graphic Era Hill University PhD Admission 2023 (Jan) Application Process

• The application form along with attested copies of Certificates may be submitted to the Office of Dean Research, Graphic Era Hill University, 510 Society Area, Clement Town, Dehradun248002 along with the fee of Rs 1500/- in Cash or through NEFT latest by Saturday, 31st Dec 2022.
• Applications forms found incomplete or received after the prescribed date will be summarily rejected.

Application Fee

Admission Process

• The admission is made on the basis of GATE/NET (UGC/CSIR)/SLET scores or Research Entrance Test followed by interview.
• GATE/NET (UGC/ CSIR) qualified candidates are exempted from written test. However, they will have to appear for interview which will be notified later.

Research Associateship/ Fellowship

Graphic Era Hill University Dehradun will award Associateships / Fellowships to the Full-Time research scholars under following categories, viz.,

Institute Fellowship

• Institutional fellowship of Rs. 36, 000/- per month shall be awarded to NET/JRF/ GATE (with valid Gate Score) to full time research scholars.
• Institutional fellowship of Rs. 32, 000/- per month shall be awarded to full time research scholars, those who will qualify the PhD entrance Examination.
• Scholarship continuation will be subjected to satisfactory performance in each semester.
• In addition to above, the Scholars will get Rs. 2,00,000/- per as Contingency .

Entrance Test Details

Syllabus

• The papers will be divided into 2 sections; each section will carry equal marks (50 each) and a total of 100 marks.
• Section I : Research Aptitude (50 Marks)
• Section II: MCQ relating to the domain area you have applied for RET Syllabus is as per GATE/UGC NET)
• The Entrance test shall be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50%.

Interview

• (50 Marks) Qualified candidates are required to discuss research interest/project before duly constituted Department Research Committee.
