Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/Differently abled) or its equivalent grade

GBU PhD Entrance Test (GBU ET) Details

• The Entrance Test (GBU-ET 2023) will be conducted via “CBT or Remote Proctored Online Test (RPOT)”. The detailed guideline for the same will be intimated by June 15, 2023 through the university admission portal and via registered Email IDs given by candidates.
• Entrance Test for PhD Programs shall be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50% for candidates belonging to General and OBC category (45 % for SC/ST) as per UGC Guidelines.
• The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of Research Methodology and 50% shall be subject specific.
• A weightage of 70% to the entrance test and 30% to the performance in the interview/viva voce shall be given for selection of candidates in PhD.
