• DECE LE 2022 is short for Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination Lateral Entry.
• It is an Diploma entrance exam at the State level organized by BCECEB Bihar.
• DECE LE is for admission to Lateral Entry to Diploma.

Eligibility Criteria

• Passed 10+2 Examination with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship (or)
• 10th + (2 years ITI) shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) in Any branch of Engineering and Technology.
• The Affiliating Body will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc, for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the program.

• Candidates have to apply online through the official website https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/
• Read the the instruction carefully before filling the application form.

Steps to Fill application for DECE LE 2022

• Step 1- Registration
  • Registration with details like contact number, email address, etc. Candidates were advised to enter their own contact number and email id as the details entered here will be used for further communication.
• Step 2- Personal Information
  • Candidates have to log in using the registered email id and password. Next, candidates have to enter personal details here in this step. After entering personal details candidates have to click on Save and continue and move further.
• Step 3- Upload Photo and Signature
  • Candidates will also be required to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The photograph has to be recently clicked with a placard with the name and date of clicking the picture mentioned on it. The dimension of the image should be 3.5 x 4.5cm.
• Step 4- Educational Qualification
  • The educational details have to be entered in this section.
• Step 5- Application Preview
  • In this step, candidates have to preview all the details entered by them before submitting it finally. If found any mistake then you can correct it by click on Back to Edit button.
• Step 6- Payment of Examination Fee
  • The prescribed application fee has to be paid either through online mode or through bank challan. Candidates can pay their fee using debit card, credit card, internet banking or through bank challan. 
• Step 7- Download the Application Form
  • Candidates are advised to download the application form (Part-A and Part-B) and preserve it for further reference.

DECE LE 2022 Admit Card 

• The authorities will release the admit card of DECE LE 2022for the registered candidates on the official website.
• Candidates will have to download and take a print out of DECE LE 2022 admit card as they are required to carry it to the exam hall.
• Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the website using the login credentials.

DECE LE 2022 Result

• The authorities will declare the result of DECE LE 2022in online mode.
• DECE Lateral Entry Result 2022 will be declared in the form of the merit list. Roll number of qualified candidates is mentioned in the category-wise merit list. 

Steps to Download DECE LE Merit List 2022/Rank card

• Visit the official website- bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
• Click on “Rank Card of DECE LE 2022”.
• Enter Roll Number and Date of Birth and click on the “Show Rank” button.
• Merit list/Rank card will be displayed on the screen.
• Download and take a printout.
