Eligibility Criteria for CIP Ranchi MPhil and PhD Admission 2023
| For PhD in Clinical Psychology | M.Phil. (Medical & Social Psychology/ Clinical Psychology) |
| For MPhil in Clinical Psychology | M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology course from a University recognized by the UGC with minimum 55% marks for UR & EWS and 50% marks for SC, ST & OBC in aggregate. |
| For MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work | Masters in Social Work course from University recognized by the UGC with minimum 55% Marks for UR & EWS and 50% marks for SC, ST and OBC in aggregate. |
| For Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing | ‘A’ Grade Certificate or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. |

CIP Ranchi MPhil and PhD Admission 2023 Application Process
Candidates have to apply online only through the official website https://cipranchi.nic.in/
The application form is to be submitted electronically ONLY by internet to CIP website: www.cipranchi.nic.in. Hard copy of the application form will not be entertained.

Admit Card
The admit card and a covering letter having necessary instructions will be made available on the CIP website.
The Admit card and the covering letter are to be downloaded and printed by the candidates and the same to be brought with them to the examination Center.
Selection Procedure
For PhD & MPhil in Clinical Psychology
There shall be an online entrance test consisting of 100 MCQ type questions to be answered in 60 minutes. The shortlisted Candidates will be called for interview and practical in person. The test will have questions of MA/MSc standard. The selection of candidates to the courses will be based on total marks obtained in entrance test, interview and practical.
For MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work
There shall be an online entrance test consisting of 100 MCQ type questions to be answered in 60 minutes. The shortlisted Candidates will be called for interview/practical. The test will have questions of MSW standard. The selection of candidates to the courses will be based on total marks obtained in entrance test, interview/practical.
For Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing Course
There shall be no online entrance test; however there will be an interview for selection of the candidates in person at CIP Ranchi.
Scholarships Details
| For PhD & MPhil Courses | Selected candidates will get a scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- per month. |
| For Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing Course | Selected candidates will get a scholarship of Rs. 2500/- per month. |
