Anna University invites application for the following MSc Courses in College of Engineering Guindy Campus & Madras Institute of Technology Campus –

Eligibility Criteria for Anna University M.Sc. Admission 2023

• The candidate must have passed the degree in the relevant field with (10+2+3 / 4 years) pattern from a recognised University.
• Candidates appearing for final semester/year examination in April / May 2023 may also apply for admission.

Subject Wise Requirements

*Note – M. Sc. Medical Physics programme, offered by Department of Medical Physics, College of Engineering Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai is one of the professional courses dealing with radiation physics, radiation therapy and radiation safety to the public, patients and personnel. As per AERB safety code 2011 (Code No. AERB/RF-MED/SC-1(Rev.1), it is mandatory that the candidates who complete M.Sc. (Medical Physics) degree should undergo Medical Radiological Safety Officer examination conducted by AERB after undergoing a minimum of 12 months internship in any one of the AERB recognized Radiotherapy Department to work in the Hospital and Medical institutes as a qualified Medical Physicist or as Radiological Safety Officer.

Anna University M.Sc. Admission 2023 Application Process

• The candidates can apply online through website www.annauniv.edu
• Read instructions carefully before filling application.
• Applicants need to fill all the details in the application form such as their name, address and the details of the educational qualification.
• Candidates need to upload the scanned copies of the photos and signature in the application form. Later, candidates need to take the printout of the application form.

Fill up the details required in the Online application

• Upload a good quality recently taken passport size photograph (in jpg.format)
• Upload scanned copy of Candidate`s Signature
• X Standard Mark Sheet
• XII Standard Mark Sheet
• Candidates who have completed the UG Degree Programme in 2022 or prior to 2022 have to upload the following Document
  • Degree Certificate (or) Provisional Certificate
  • Consolidated Mark sheet (or) Mark sheets of all Semesters of the Qualifying Degree Examination completed.
• Candidates appearing for April / May 2023 Final Semester (or year) University Examinations are also eligible to apply. However, the candidates should have passed in all the subjects upto the pre-final year. Such candidates have to upload the following Documents:
  • Bonafide Certificate obtained from the Head of the Institution where the candidate is studying (or) photocopy of the April / May 2023 University Examination Hall Ticket.
  • Mark sheets issued by the University for all the semesters upto the pre-final year of the Qualifying Degree Examination
• Permanent Community Certificate (If applicable) in Card Format / Digitally Signed eCertificate in the case of BC / BCM / MBC & DNC / SC / SCA / ST candidates (with Tamil Nadu Nativity).
• Medical Certificate (If applicable) issued by the District Medical Board for Differently abled person
• Nativity Certificate (if applicable) only as Digitally signed e-Certificate.

Selection Process

• The admission is based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination.
• Merit list will be prepared as per rank based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Examination. In case more than one candidate have got the same marks in the common rank list, inter-se rank among such candidates shall be determined in the order of priority as given below.
  • Total Marks in XII Standard Examination in percentage
  • Total marks in X Standard Examination in percentage
  • Date of Birth (Senior will be placed above)
  • Random Number Assigned

• If a candidate could not download the hall ticket by 01.06.2023, he/she should report the same to the Director, Centre for Admissions, Anna University, Chennai through email dircfa@annauniv.edu.
• Entrance examination hall ticket should be produced at the time of admission.
