RCUB PhD Admission 2023-24 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have secured at least 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/Cat-1/Physically challenged) or equivalent grade under grading system, in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from the recognized Universities/ Institutions from India and abroad.

RCUB PhD Admission 2023-24 Application Process

• The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University website (www.rcub.ac.in). The duly filled in application form should be sent to the Chairman/ Co-ordinator of the concerned Department.
• Applications will be received on all days between 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. except on 1st and 3rd Saturdays, Sundays and General Holidays.
• Self attested copies of all relevant documents should be enclosed.
• Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/Cat I/Physical Challenged must ensure to submit the relevant documents, failing which their candidature will be considered under general merit.
• Candidates who are in service should submit their application through proper channel.
• Candidates who take up Ph.D. programme on full-time basis shall give an undertaking to the effect that they will not take up any job during the period of Ph.D.
• Candidates who take up Ph.D. programme on part-time basis shall submit No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from your Organization/Institution (at the time of selection process).
• The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the seats.

RCUB PhD Admission 2023-24 Selection Process

• Selection will be on the basis of entrance test and interview.
• In case of candidates securing the same marks in the merit list then such candidates who have secured higher percentage in the Master’s Degree Examination will be placed higher in ranking.
• Foreign and sponsored candidates, teachers on FIP/QIP and candidates who have cleared the UGC-JRF/UGC-CSIR-JRF/ NET/SLET/ GATE/GRE are exempted from the Entrance Test.
• The candidates who are exempted from the Entrance Test will be informed separately regarding the date, time and venue of the interview, by the respective Department.
