AMU UG Admission 2023-24 Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for admission is to complete 10+2 from a recognised board of education. The course wise eligibility –

BA {Hons.}10+2 Examination or an equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate
BSc {Hons.}10+2 in Agriculture or in Science (With Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Home Science) or an equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate
BCom {Hons.}10+2 Examination or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate with English and one of the following subjects Accountancy / Economics / Business Studies / Commerce / Banking / Entrepreneurship / Mathematics / Computer Science / Business Administration / Financial Markets Management
B.Voc10+2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics of this University or an equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate 
BA LLB10+2 or an equivalent examination with aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks
B.EdMinimum 50% marks in B.A. / B.Sc. / B. Com. / B.Th. in aggregate and in the subject concerned or Minimum 55% marks in the Master’s Degree in Science / Social Sciences / Humanities, Bachelor in Engineering & Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics 
B.P.EdBachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the InterCollege/Inter Zonal / District / School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU / IOA / SGFI / Govt. of India. OR Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks OR Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as compulsory elective subject
B.Tech10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
BEDiploma in Engg. in the relevant branch of study or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with 50% marks
B.Arch10+2 Exam or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
MBBS10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Further, the candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 
BDS10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Further, the candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Selection Process

Admissions to AMU UG courses are based on the Admission/Departmental tests conducted by AMU.

For some programs like BA (Hons.), BSc.(Hons.), and BVoc. programs are done on the basis of CUET UG exam scores and counseling.

For AMU UG medical courses NEET UG scores are considered during counseling.
