About Post MSc Diploma in Radiological Physics
A 2 Year course conducted in collaboration with MNJ Institute of Oncology, American Oncology Institute, KIMS Hospital, Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital, Omega Hospital, all at Hyderabad.
Duration of Course
2 Semesters (one year) + one year of field training/internship at collaborating hospitals
Course Intake
The intake 8+8 (sponsored)
The sponsored seats are open to all and on all India basis. The candidates, with relevant experience, must be sponsored by institutions / hospitals / firms dealing with radiotherapy labs or instruments or such other related areas.
The sponsored candidates are also required to qualify in the entrance test.
If sufficient number of sponsored candidates is not available, these seats will be filled by other candidates.
Note:
1. The candidates of other states (except TS/AP) are eligible only for sponsored seats.
2. There are no supernumerary seats in this course.

Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc. in Physics / Nuclear Physics or an equivalent course with minimum 60% marks
- Candidates must have qualified at the Entrance Test conducted by the University in the Academic year for which admission is sought

- Candidates can submit the filled-in application, along with a demand draft for Rs.1500/- either in person or by post, to the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, Hyderabad-500007
Selection Procedure
Admission is based on merit in the entrance test conducted by university.
Entrance Test
- The entrance test paper contains multiple choice objective type questions only and the answers for the questions are to be marked on the OMR answer sheet.
- The medium of instruction and examination is English
Declaration of Entrance Test Results
Results of Entrance Test will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Directorate of Admissions and the rank cards will be made available on OU website.
